Project “Broker OS”: UX Process and Artifacts

  • On-Site Brokerage research: I and the senior team travelled to visit a few high performing brokerages during their company forecasting meetings to discuss their successes and how they can be applied systematically.
  • User research and surveys: working with a UXR resource, we surveyed our existing userbase of brokerages to understand the demographics and different brokerage personas.
  • Competitive Analysis: I performed a comprehensive competitive analysis of existing broker platforms across a number of different facets, such as system frame/navigation, dashboard UX, goal setting & tracking, etc.
  • User Personas and User Flows: user personas were constructed and flows were created to map out desired new workflows.
  • Sketches and Wireframes: interfaces and features were sketched out conceptually, then I created wireframes and refined screens and flows further in design iterations.
  • Prototypes: I created interactive prototypes to be used both internally with business partners to validate interaction patterns as well as during up-front user testing for feedback before development costs were incurred.
  • Validation: the app was validated internally with business partners and QA team, as well as tested with users for feedback.
